Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week – 2017 : 30/10/2017 to 04/11/2017

Within NITK Surathkal campus

 

Activity No.1 All stakeholders of NITK - including all administrators (Director, Deans, HODs, Registrar, Dy. Registrars and Asst.Registrars) HOSs, faculty, support staff, staff on contract, all students (of B.Tech, Masters, and Ph.D), and all vendors/contractors and others associated with NITK in one or other way, WILL HAVE TO TAKE A E-PLEDGE THROUGH THE PORTAL (web link: https://pledge.cvc.nic.in). On doing this on-line, you will be receiving a certificate with a specific ID number. Certificate of this type issued to the undersigned is attached herewith for information purpose.

Activity No.2 Every day (30th Oct. 2017 to 04th Nov. 2017), there is a seminar / meeting scheduled with one invited speaker on this occasion. Details of this one hour meeting cum seminar is attached herewith as annexure. All the NITKians as per the indication are expected to attend / participate the event without fail.

Activity No.3 An Essay Competition is scheduled for the students community of NITK. All B.Tech, Masters and Ph.D students are required to come forward to take part in this competition. Certificates for the first/second/third position winners of this competition will be distributed for each category (B.Tech / Masters / Ph.D) separately by our Director on the last day's meeting - i.e., on 04/11/2017.

Activity No.4 Pamphlets distribution for creating awareness of "Corruption free India" among the public who visit NITK's campus for various purposes - at the offices / premises of State of Bank of India, Canara Bank and Post office.

Activity No.5 Organizing competitions of different types among children of the Kannada and English Medium Schools within NITK campus and distribution of certificates for the first/second/third position winners.

 

Outside NITK campus

 

Activity No.6 Organizing competitions among the students of two engineering colleges around Mangalore and distribution of certificates for the first/second/third position winners.

Activity No.7 Pamphlets distribution for creating awareness of "Corruption free India" among the public in the following three locations that are nearer to NITK campus: (a) Toll Gate (b) Surathkal Bus Stand and (c) Mukka Bus Stand.
